Prelude
Statement of Welcome
Ang ating tema para sa araw na ito
ay “Called by Name.” Ito ay hango mula sa aklat ng Isaias 43:1-7 na isinulat
para sa mga Israelitang napalayas at tumira sa Babilonya. Sila noon ay nasa
hindi magandang kalagayan at naghihirap. Naroroon sa kanila ang katanungan noon
kung sila nga ba ay toong mga pinili ng Diyos. Pero sa mensaheng ito ni propeta
Isaias ito malinaw: Na sila ay minamahal ng Diyos. Bagamat sila ay nahiwalay sa
kanilang bayang sinilangan at tahanan, sila ay tinatawag ng Diyos sa kanilang
pangalan. Idinideklara ng Diyos ang kaniyang patuloy na pakikipagrelasyon sa
kanila.
Kaya naman mga kapatid, sa araw na
ito sama-sama nating papurihan ang Diyos na tumawag sa atin sa ating mga
pangalan.

Light the Peace Candle.
Ngayon ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang
pagkakabinyag ni Jesus sa pamamagitan ni Juan, at bumabâ sa kanya ang Espiritu
Santo at sinabing, “Ikaw ang minamahal kong Anak; lubos kitang kinalulugdan..”
(Luke 3:22)
Sa
ating bautismo bilang Community of Christ, tayo ay inilulubog sa tubig na
siyang sumisimbolo ng bagong buhay. “Sa ating pagsasabuhay sa bautismo natin
bilang Kristiyano, tayo ay nanalig sa isang pangako ng kaligtasan…
pinapatotohanan natin na walang anumang balakid sa biyaya ng Diyos ang kaniyang
pagmamahal ay hindi kayang abutin ng ating pang-unawa.
Sa
pamamagitan ng Espiritu, tayo ay magkakasama bilang mga magkakapatid sa buong
mundo na mayroong iisang hangarin na tayong lahat may kapayapaan at buo.

Tinawag
ng Diyos ang lahat ng tao upang magsama-samang ibahagi ang gawain ng kapayapaan,
pagkakasundo, at pagpapanumbalik. Pagnilayan at pag-isipan ang iyong pagkakabawtismo
at ang sagradong pangako mo. Sa paglipas ng panahon, may mga pagbagbago bang
dulot sa iyo ang iyong bawtismo?
Ang
misyon ng Diyos ay mapalakas ang lahat ng tao, maging buo, pagpapanumbalik, at
tamang relasyon sa Diyos at sa lahat ng kaniyang nilikha. Ang Diyos ay
tumatawag para sa mga propetikong komunidad na bumangon at maging mga kamay at
paa ng Diyos sa mundo, na naghahanap ng kagalakan, pag-asa, pag-ibig, at
kapayapaan.
Prayer
Walang Hanggang Diyos, sa mga hangin
sa tubigan, tinawag mo kami sa aming pangalan upang maging mga propetikong tao
ng kapayapaan. Katulad ng pagtawag mo sa mga anak mo sa mahabang panahon na
nakalipas, tinawag mo si Jesus mula sa tubigan sa kanyang pagkakabawtismo, at
ikaw ay patuloy ngayon na nangu-ngusap sa amin. Bigyan mo kami ng inspirasyon
upang tumugon sa iyong banal na pagtawag at kami ay sasagot ng isang masaganang
“oo.” Nawa ay lagi naming maaalala ang aming pakikipagkasundo sa aming mga
bawtismo na siyang dahilan upang palalimin pa namin ang aming mga relasyon sa
iyo at iyong mga nilikha. Nawa ay lagi naming hahanapin ang iyong kapayapaan
para amin at sa daigdig. Amen.

Statement
Iniaalok ni Jesus ng mabuting balita
sa mga inaapi at ipinahahayag ang taon ng paglingap ng Diyos. Nais ng Diyos na
maranasan ng lahat ang kapunuan at kasapatan ng buhay.
Patuloy po
nating inaaalala na sa bahagi ng ating Disciples’ Generous Response, mahalagang
i-focus po natin ang ating mga puso at layunin sa puso at layunin ng Diyos. Ang
ating mga kaloob ay higit pa sa pagkakalikom para sa misyon ng ating iglesia.
Sa pamamagitan ng ating mga kaloob, naipapakita natin ang material na
pagpapasalamat sa mga biyaya ng Diyos sa atin na siyang pinagmumulan ng lahat
ng mayroon sa atin.
