630 Christ’s Partners All Are We
Christ’s partners all are
we,
alleluia! Amen!
In mission joyfully.
Alleluia! Amen!
We dare not stand alone,
off’ring for bread a
stone,
safeguarding but our own.
Alleluia! Amen!
Sing, stewards of God’s
grace,
alleluia! Amen!
Love conquers time and
space.
Alleluia! Amen!
Gladly receive and give
strength that we all may
live;
wrongs, each to each,
forgive.
Alleluia! Amen!
Friends, joining hand in
hand,
alleluia! Amen!
Reach out from land to
land.
Alleluia! Amen!
Our circle comes full
round.
Sing we with lively
sound.
Feet, dancing, tap the
ground.
Alleluia! Amen!
God’s people celebrate,
alleluia! Amen!
For our Lord God is
great.
Alleluia! Amen!
Now serve and teach and heal,
God’s justice to make
real.
All praise with joyful
zeal.
Alleluia! Amen!
151 Come and Find the Quiet
Center
Come and find the quiet
center
in the crowded life we
lead,
find the room for hope to
enter,
find the frame where we
are freed;
clear the chaos and the
clutter,
clear our eyes that we
can see
all the things that
really matter,
be at peace, and simply
be.
Silence is a friend who
claims us,
cools the heat and slows
the pace,
God it is who speaks and
names us,
knows our being, touches
base,
making space within our
thinking,
lifting shades to show
the sun,
raising courage when
we’re shrinking,
finding scope for faith
begun.
In the Spirit let us
travel,
open to each other’s
pain,
let our loves and fears
unravel,
celebrate the space we
gain:
there’s a place for
deepest dreaming,
there’s a time for heart
to care,
in the Spirit’s lively
scheming
there is always room to
spare!
39 Crown Him with Many Crowns
Crown him with many
crowns,
the Lamb upon his throne;
hark! how the heav’nly
anthem drowns
all music but its own.
Awake, my soul, and sing
of him who died for thee;
and hail him as thy
matchless King
through all eternity.
Crown him the Lord of
love;
behold his hands and
side,
rich wounds yet visible
above
in beauty glorified.
No angel in the sky
can fully bear that
sight,
but downward bends his
burning eye
at mysteries so bright.
Crown him the Lord of
peace,
whose pow’r a scepter
sways
from pole to pole, that
wars may cease,
absorbed in prayer and
praise.
His reign shall know no
end,
and round his pierced
feet
fair flow’rs of paradise
extend
their fragrance ever
sweet.
Crown him the Lord of
years,
the Potentate of time,
creator of the rolling
spheres,
ineffably sublime!
Glassed in a sea of light
where everlasting waves
reflect his form—the
Infinite,
who lives and loves and
saves.
